About Garatie Houseshares

We have always been committed to running our houseshares personally, so we are large enough to be financially stable but small enough to get to know our housemates and avoid the difficulties we hear about when 3rd party Letting Agents are involved. We like to keep it simple, you pay rent, we pay all bills.

Our team of Cleaners, Gas Heating Engineers, Electricians have all been chosen with care and have been with us for many years.

We are proud to see house mates moving on in life at the end of their stay. Many have been with us for over 4 years (record is 9 years 7 months) and we take satisfaction from advising some in their first house purchase. In fact, not one housemate has ever moved to another houseshare in the same town. We have also supported and coached a small number of housemates that have lost jobs during their time with us, it is great to see those successes.

In short, we believe in “partnership”, working with people we like, so we can all enjoy life!!
